I created a SoundCloud account this past spring to record first grade students reading their poems. (I am glad this falls within the time period for Thing #16.) The poems were written and recorded during National Poetry Month. Students typed their poems into a Google Doc, and I created a link to their recordings. I would have preferred to embed their SoundCloud recordings, but Google Docs doesn't allow you to embed things using HTML. SoundCloud is a very easy app to use.
